Hey Kelly!  I hope you have an awesome birthday!  Your deserve to have a relaxing, fun birthday, so I hope you enjoy it!  You do so much for us fans with touring, blogging, making music, etc.  I appreciate it so much!  I have been a fan of yours since Idol and have loved your voice and your music ever since then (what is that, about 8 years now?).  I have seen you 4 times in concert, and you are amazing!  I have always been able to relate to your music.  It has helped me through some stuff, and it always means so much to me to hear a song that can describe how I feel better than I could.  You and your music are truly amazing.  I hope I get a chance to meet you someday (maybe at concert #5 haha); that would be an honor.  Anyways, have a great birthday and keep rocking!  :D

Hmm.

I don’t even know what to say to you, except that you’ve had a hugely influential role in my life since I was 12 years old… and I’m turning 21 this year. Your music was always there for me, even when others weren’t. As teenagers, it seems like nobody is ever on your side, you know? So it’s cool to think “Well hey, at least KC was!”

Your music always spoke to me, even when I really couldn’t formulate my own thoughts in my head. You knew what was going on up there! That takes a truly kind and talented soul to do that. Expose all your own vulnerabilities, just to maybe have an impact on others. You had an impact on me.

Anyway, I don’t mean to get all sappy! Nobody likes sap on their birthdays (okay, maybe a little sap is fine), but basically… I hope you have a REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, amazingly awesome, insanely amazing birthday! You deserve the best. Your music has held my hand through both the difficult moments in life, as well as very special and happy moments too.

I hope to hear more music from you for years to come. Music that can be the soundtrack to the chapters in my life that haven’t even been written yet.

You have brightened my life so much.  Your lyrics are a part of my everyday life.  You even inspire my little girl.  We came to a concert in Nov 2008 in Bridgeport, CT where the people around us were so nice and shouted to you and Reba about it being my little girl’s 5th birthday.  Let me just say that I can never out do that birthday!  Thank you for singing to her, we even have it on video!  Also at that concert I met a girl that is now one of my best friends, as we are both Navy wives of Submariners and we ended up being neighbors!  What a small world!  I hope this birthday brings you all the joy in the world as you have brought to us and many others in this world.  Happy Birthday Kelly!!
